A smile at the Asian grocery store....

I've become quite friendly with the shop keeper at the Asian grocery store in Phillip (not the Indian one at the very end of the main road, the Asian one next door!).  He is an Indonesian guy and he is extremely friendly and very helpful.  I think they have a great range of food, but most importantly, they sell sushi rice - and I buy a lot of sushi rice!  He always greets customers with a big smile and he's given me a few ideas for meals that have been very successful (quite a few Indonesian meals)!  Today he apologised to me because I had to wait for about 40 seconds while he served the person in front of me.  Admittedly the person was talking rubbish (they were bemoaning the fact that they hadn't won lotto), but it was hardly a long wait and I was slightly amused about how pathetic they were!  I'm grateful that the shop is so handy and that he makes my visits so pleasant!!
