Beach and Rainforest

Belinda and I walked along the beach today. We went from Kirra Beach to Burleigh. It was about 14kms and it was extremely humid and hot and we got very burnt. Well I got burnt and BJ got bronzed. There is a very nice concrete path along most of the beach and where there wasn't we walked on the beach. The highlight of the walk was the walk through the rainforest at Burleigh Head. It is so beautiful. Because it's been raining recently, it was very green and lush. Someone, at some time, has made sure that the area wasn't developed and it has lovely paths through which must be enjoyed by a large number of people daily. I'm grateful for the beauty of a rainforest in the middle of the Gold Coast.
