I have lots of dreams

I've just returned from a lovely meal at Au Lac Restaurant in Dickson.  It is Vegetarian Vietnamese.  We had three completely different dishes, and they were all good.  The restaurant was also relatively full - which is also a good sign.  I did wonder why they bother to make meat substitutes and not focus more on actual vegetarian meals!  But it was so nice, I'm not going to worry about that!   Alan and I spent a lot of time discussing holidays.  Just to clarify, I love organising holidays - almost as much as I enjoy actually being on holidays.  I am so grateful that I am able to dream about places to go - and then that my dreams are often realised.  I'm a very big dreamer!  So many people don't have the opportunity to dream.  Or if they do, their dreams are beyond their reach.  Of course, the most famous dream is that spoken by Martin Luther King Jr.  I get goose bumps listening to that speech - or reading it to myself.  If you've forgotten how powerful it is, I'd advise you to do a quick search of the internet to listen to it!  My dreams are very tame in some ways.

Speaking of dreams (which I was), I also really like the ABBA song "I have a dream".  Not quite as powerful as MLK, but also wonderful to listen to...

'I have a dream, a song to sing
To help me cope with anything....' (In actual fact the lyrics are a bit lame, but the song is still nice!!)
