Aunty Annette

We had a birthday party for Nana today. She isn't 99 until 31 January, but today suited everybody involved! My Aunt is a wonderful cook - she puts together food like no one else I know. So lunch consisted of two fantastic salads. Her capacity for hard work knows no bounds. For many years she has cared for my grandmother and before that my great Aunt Elizabeth and my Grandfather. Actually she cares for everybody around her. She is a quintessential carer. I am so grateful for the wonderful care she takes of those around her - including, at times, me!
